We had such a great experience with this painting company! Everyone was super friendly, easy to work with, and really listened to what we wanted. They did a great job protecting everything around the house while they worked and paid attention to all the little details. They also did a walkthrough with us at the end and made sure any little touch\-ups were taken care of. Our house looks so good and we’re really happy with how everything turned out\! Adam was great to work with for the estimate and made sure to understand exactly what we were looking for.
We accepted their quote and they were flexible with our start date that shifted a couple times due to other work and weather.
Josh and his crew painted our house and did a great job. They were very friendly, took time to fully understand the details we were looking for and did a great job at protecting parts of our house from overspray. Josh made sure to do a final walkthrough with me and fixed a couple touch ups on the spot to make sure the job was fully completed. The house looks great and our experience with River City Painting was outstanding. We will use them in the future if needed.

Highly recommend! From start to finish, the entire process was professional and seamless. The estimator was extremely thorough and even printed a copy of the estimate from his vehicle while also providing an electronic version for convenience.
Our project manager, Jose, and his crew were outstanding. Despite several weather-related delays, gotta love Wichita, KS, they completed the project within the estimated timeframe and maintained excellent communication throughout. We even requested a last-minute change to a paint detail on our front door, and they were happy to accommodate it without any issues.
Overall, this was a stress-free experience, and the quality of work exceeded our expectations. Even our neighbors commented on how great everything looked. We couldn’t be happier with the results and would gladly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, professional painting company.

I bought a house with more wallpaper than you can imagine - every wall, closet and ceiling (yes really) River City Painting not only accepted the job but nailed it! Everyone was terrific, Adam estimator, Leah office and Jose project mgr. But the Rock Stars were Oscar and his crew, they are the best skilled craftsman. Their attention to detail and respect for my property was outstanding and their work ethic was impressive. You can look high and low but you won't find anyone who can touch these guys!

River City Painting just finished an interior painting project for us. They did a wonderful job, from scheduling, communication, and workmanship. Alex was the painter assigned to us for a few days. He was great: polite, considerate of us and our belongings, cleaned up each end-of-day, painted sharp ceiling lines, took the time to double check his work. Jim, project manager, checked in with him and us throughout the work, to see if he needed anything and to see if we were good with things. I would highly recommend Ricer City Painting!

We hired River City Painting for two projects. The first was painting custom wooden bookshelves, and the second was painting our entire newly finished basement. Both experiences were poor. Both times they sent out painters that made many mistakes, fired them, then followed up with a different crew to fix all of the mistakes. Both times, the second crew had to start over, and both times it took over twice as long as it should have. The custom bookshelves turned out good in the end, which is why I hired them to paint our basement. But, I continue to find issues with the basement after the second crew finished, such as overspray on the trim, stripped out screws in the door hinges, and bent door hinges. All the doors shut just fine before they started painting. In the end, they knocked off some from the initial basement quote to compensate, but not enough considering the time and frustration. For the price they charged me for the basement, I expected professional painters. They did not send professional painters. They should have started with the second crew on both projects. It isn't clear why they didn't learn that lesson the first time. I'm not happy and won't be hiring them again.

From the beginning, Alex, the estimator, was professional, knowledgeable, and transparent. He set the tone for what turned out to be an outstanding project.
Jose, the project manager, ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Communication was clear, timelines were met, and the crew showed up exactly when they said they would. That level of punctuality and organization is something I really value, and they delivered.
A special shoutout to Oscar, who completed the actual work. His craftsmanship was exceptional. I take a lot of pride in attention to detail myself, and I can honestly say Oscar’s work met (and even exceeded) my expectations. Every surface was finished with precision, and the final result speaks for itself. He took 60 year old walls and made them look brand new.
One of the biggest challenges with this project was a large popped seam running through the middle of the textured ceiling. Several other contractors didn’t even want to bid that portion due to the difficulty, but River City Painting took it on without hesitation—and executed it flawlessly. You’d never know it was ever there.

This business gets 10 stars in my book . Happy with response to my call. This was just a restaining of two side panels on my front door to match my entry door. Jesus was the forman on the job, another guy was also working. Such nice young men . The job they did was fantastic .

We were updating the paint on a sun faded side of our house. We called this team and they were VERY responsive. They provided a quote, were out the next day to complete the work, and made sure the job was done to everyone’s satisfaction. He did the entire house, trim, garage door, and 2 other doors to the outside. He was thorough, respectful and treated our job like it was his own home. We recently had a fence stained. It was a unique project as another contractor has started the job but didn't finish it. The Project Manager, Jose, was patient, courteous, and respectful while working through the challenges. Really, everyone we worked with there were great! I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

This company is amazing. They go the extra mile to make sure everything is to your liking. David , during our final walk around found things needing fixed that I didn't even notice. All the workers kept everything clean and organized through the whole process. Communication was also great. Never had to leave more then 1 message. I recommend this company. You definitely get your money's worth. If I ever need painting again I will definitely call them. I can't say enough of every single worker that worked on our house. We appreciate all their hard work and professionalism.

The process started with Adam giving me a quote. He was very professional and got the quote to me in a timely manner. After paying the deposit the office contacted me to schedule a start date. We were waiting for my roofing company to get gutters removed but they were very understanding with scheduling. Jesus painted the exterior of my house. He had great communication with me on when he would be able to paint due to the weather. His work was very thorough and he took the time to make sure it was done with quality. I appreciated Brett giving me a call after to thank us for our business and patience with the weather. Every encounter I had with an employee at this company made me feel they all put in effort to do a great job. I would recommend this company.

River City showed up on time, finished on time, answered all of my questions, of what and why, they were taking specific actions, cleaned up meticulously after the job, and were very polite. I will certainly look to them, two years from now when my south facing deck needs to be resealed. I will also recommend River City to others. Although my experience with the painting process left much to be desired, I absolutely adored working with the people. The first painting crew I had did not do a thorough job. I had many areas I was not happy with. When I voiced concern, and explained I was not happy with the outcome, Jim came out immediately to take a look. Upon inspection, he agreed with my assessment and promptly had a different crew out to go over everything with a fine tooth comb. I completely understand things can be missed and accidents happen, but it's rare to find a company these days that works until their customer is completely satisfied. Definitely recommend!

We were more than pleased with the work done in our garage makeover. The painters showed up bright and early everyday and put in long hours on 100° plus days.
